Consultation Types and Services
Provide attorneys and their clients with information crucial to their case, psycho-legal issue, or mental health concern. This may include psychodiagnostic assessment or psychological testing, evaluation, or assessment to assist in obtaining critical and relevant information.
Conduct evaluation, including psychological testing and assessment to determine to what extent and whether the client’s mental health or psychological symptoms are caused by the client’s medical condition, illness, disease, procedure, or treatment plan. Med-legal evaluations are typically requested as part of a personal injury or workers’ compensation case and are routinely used to determine if there is a need for treatment, if continued treatment is indicated, and whether treatment progress has been made. Med-legal evaluations are also used to determine apportionment, limitations and restrictions, and degree of impairment or disability.
Healthy-living coaching is not a form of psychotherapy or psychological treatment. Coaching typically involves guiding and directing clients to use real-life strategies and approaches customized to their unique needs and goals, while accounting for past unsuccessful efforts, anticipated challenges, and capitalizing on their strengths and advantages. Structured differently than the average life, wellness, or healthy-living coach, Lauren integrates behavioral principles, strategies, theories, and effective psychologically-based practices derived from research being conducted at the intersection of behavior, health, and psychology.
